Meet Dr. Thomas Getzelman
Meet the Staff at Hampshire Animal Hospital and Gilberts Animal Clinic.
We're here for you and your pet.
Dr. Getzelman graduated from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. He was a veterinarian in Joliet and Hampshire before opening Hampshire Animal Hospital in 1986. To serve the needs of clients living further to the east, he opened Gilberts Animal Clinic in 1992. After selling the practice to Dr. Katie Stover in November of 2016, he continues to see clients a few days each week.
Now that he is semi-retired, he has more time to spend with his wife, Brenda, his grandchildren, and his golden retriever. He also enjoys gardening.
