We are having a special event for owners of senior dogs on Thursday, February 27 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Hampshire Animal Hospital at 126 Park Street in Hampshire.Â
Dr. Stover will present Osteoarthritis: Symptoms & Treatment. Osteoarthritis is a common problem in senior dogs. Identifying it early and beginning treatment can keep dogs active longer and improve their quality of life. Dr. Stover will discuss the  risk factors, symptoms and different treatment options available.
Next, Jodie Jeske, CVT, CCRT, will share exercises to keep senior dogs active and functioning in their everyday life.
Brian Martin, CVT and Territory Manager at Companion Animal Health will explain how therapy lasers can be utilized to relieve pain, reduce swelling and heal wounds without, or with lower doses of, pain medications and anti-inflammatory drugs often used to treat arthritis and other painful conditions.Â
There is no fee to attend but space is limited so registration is required. Call 847-683-4788 to register.
Attendees will receive 20% off their first purchase of a package of therapy laser treatments.
